Things I want to say

 For My Family

I've been on edge for several months now- if not years-partly because my oldest son has been away in the desert again for the third time. ( Now he's home and I hope he won't have to go anymore.)  And partly because I've also got several other precious kids- and grandkids- who have their own lives and challenges.

When my husband retired from the military, I had hoped to put all this waiting and worrying behind me but no-here comes Matt to make a career of it also.  No wonder our hair is grey.

Matt is 40 now and hardly a kid.  He's a soldier.  But he's also a husband, and a Dad.  Please, let him stay home awhile, and raise his own kids, and be a husband, and a regular family guy.

I love ALL my kids and grandkids.  I respect them.  They are the source of joy in my life.  We now have 22 family members that are here because we met and fell in love. I wish I could put my arms around all of them at this very moment and hold on to them forever.

I want them all to know how I feel about them because sometimes they have troubles and heartaches, and I wish I could take the bad stuff away, but since I can't, I can give them my love, which is the best thing I've got.

In fact, I'd give you  the world if I could, my dear ones.

Love, Love, Love, Love,  Mom

P.S.  Mike, Chris, Jacob, Jimmy, Tammy, Sara, Megan, Emily, Jay, Max, Jamie, Joey, Emma, Grey, Hannah, Rose, Hazel, Annie, and of course Matt, Dana, Connor, and Maddie- every one of you are important and precious to me and Dad.  Don't ever forget it.  We are glad and grateful that you came into our family.  The best in the world.

Awww, Mommy.  I love you!

I am extremely blessed to have you and Dad for my parents, and examples, and friends.
